There have been some amazing posts in the blogosphere this week. Here are just a few that caught my eye.
Massive GTD Resource List - Leo from ZenHabits.net has put together a massive list of resources for GTD and productivity junkies. You’ll definitely want to check this out. He’s got everything from GTD books, blogs, and online tools to GTD checklists, forums, and analogue tools. Thanks for the great list Leo! This one will certainly keep me busy for a while.
60+ Improvements to Make to Your Life - DumbLittleMan.com has put together a very cool list on how to improve your life. Some of my favorite tips included:
- Smile at strangers.
- When you go to bed, reflect on things that made you happy that day.
- Listen more than you talk.
- Play with your kids for an hour each day.
- Be involved in your children’s school (talk to teachers, get involved in events, etc.)
- Reduce TV time to 2 hours per week.
Steve Rubel has put together an excellent post on The Most Essential Career Skill You Need to Succeed. You’ll never guess what it is. Click here to find out.
Don’t Be So Quick To Judge - Brian Kim has written an amazing piece on why we shouldn’t be so quick to judge others. He comments that we don’t always know what’s going on in another person’s life. We certainly don’t know the whole story. Maybe they’re having a bad day. Maybe they just lost their job. Let’s keep an open mind and truly get to know people before we make our first impressions.
You may have also noticed that I have been writing a number of articles for other blogs, including Lifehack.org and Dumblittleman.com. Here are links to my most recent articles:
